As most of you know we are running a 10 chapter story in the paper that started last Friday and will continue to run every Friday for the next 9 weeks. I have also attached the Teachers Guide that goes along with it.
If you have any questions just let me know.
Thanks,
Shannon

Our auditor requires the Yakima Herald-Republic Newspaper in Education (NIE) program to have an affidavit on file from every teacher confirming we have provided newspapers and curriculum materials. Affidavits are required each semester to confirm delivery during that portion of the school year.
Please click here for a simple form to fill out to help us keep providing papers to you.

Worried About MSP and HSPE?
January 8, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
If you take the Sunday paper as part of your NIE subscription, we will email MSP and HSPE prep questions to you each Monday afternoon. Questions relate to content of the Sunday newspaper and are intended to develop one or more of the following skills: reading and comprehension, essay writing, critical thinking, and evaluation and analysis. Questions are geared for grades 5-12.
This is a FREE service for NIE teachers. We need a valid email address. Sometimes schools block incoming mail, so be sure to ask your school to unblock NIE so we can get through your email.
