Vacation Donation
There’s a wonderful program that gets newspapers and educational materials into the hands of area students. It’s called Vacation Donation.
Here’s how it works: When Yakima Herald-Republic subscribers go on vacation, instead of putting their subscriptions on hold, they can donate their newspaper delivery to the Yakima Herald-Republic Newspaper in Education program.
The money used for delivery then goes to provide newspapers and materials to local schools in the upcoming quarter. That way, students can enjoy your vacation too.
